Higher Education Executive Leadership
- Professional Longevity: A minimum of 12 to 15+ years of progressive, verified leadership experience operating within higher education administration, academic governance, or institutional effectiveness cells.
- Governance Framework Architecture: Documented success in designing, launching, and embedding comprehensive, university-wide academic quality assurance systems (including program reviews and institutional audits).
- Systems Engineering: A clear track record of building complex administrative teams, software-backed processes, and infrastructure from scratch within evolving or non-traditional educational environments.
Accreditation, Compliance, & Lifecycle Management
- Multi-Jurisdictional Regulation: Proven success interacting with and clearing the compliance bars of diverse regulatory authorities and state Higher Education Councils across multiple borders.
- Global Benchmarking Success: Direct experience managing international accreditation processes, institutional reviews, or steering universities toward global ranking recognition.
- Administrative Operations Mastery: Deep operational familiarity overseeing Registrar functions, academic record governance, student information systems (SIS), and holistic student service models (retention, engagement, and wellness).
Key Responsibilities
Academic Governance & Institutional Effectiveness
- Institutionalize Quality Frameworks: Define and embed university-wide academic governance standards that merge global best practices with ALU’s unique, mission-driven learning model.
- Establish Success Metrics: Design and track key performance indicators (KPIs) covering academic outcomes, institutional efficiency, student retention, and graduation velocity.
- Lead Data-Driven Reviews: Build and govern data analytics pipelines to transform institutional performance metrics into clear, actionable structural improvements.
Registrar, Student Services, & Safeguarding Operations
- Govern the Student Lifecycle: Provide strategic oversight to the Registrar’s Office, ensuring maximum accuracy, privacy compliance, and efficiency from initial enrollment to degree conferral.
- Elevate the Student Experience: Define a holistic, student-centric service strategy that drives engagement and coordinates seamlessly with academic success metrics.
- Enforce Absolute Safeguarding: Uphold and integrate ALU's comprehensive safeguarding policy across all student services, maintaining a secure environment and a zero-tolerance stance on violations.
Compliance, Global Accreditation, & Collaboration
- Secure Cross-Border Compliance: Serve as the final authority on regulatory alignment, ensuring full compliance with Higher Education Councils across all operating jurisdictions.
- Drive Global Recognition: Spearhead the preparation, documentation, and continuous maintenance required to achieve international accreditation, awards, and elite global rankings.
- Orchestrate Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner closely with academic dean cells, faculty blocks, and operational teams to embed quality benchmarks deeply within the day-to-day ecosystem.
