Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring VisionFund Rwanda staff live out our Christian faith in all we do as reflected in strategy, ministry, and organizational practices
- Leading the Impact function within the organization, ensuring that our work results in positive financial, social, and spiritual impact
- Equip staff to follow Jesus’ incarnational ministry model of servant leadership and of deep client listening
- Setting strategic knowledge management priorities to ensure that faith & development knowledge is leveraged as a strategic asset to enhance impact
- Adapting and developing resources (reflecting branding, communication, and F&D priorities) that will influence and deepen all staff's understanding of WV’s Christian identity and how it informs our approach to work and delivery of financial services
- Championing, modelling and supporting the living out of WV’s faith and calling through equipping of leaders and staff (including staff of different faiths; reflect denominational diversity and other-faith sensitivities, where appropriate)
- Ensuring our Christian faith informs and supports the delivery of high-quality financial services and non-financial services (e.g., training of clients), and external engagement in delivering VisionFund Rwanda’s mission, mandates, and impact of faith.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Business, or related field.
- Master’s degree preferred in Theology, Faith & Development, or Social Impact Management.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in faith-based organizations or development programs integrating spiritual, social, and financial impact.
- Proven experience leading impact or transformation initiatives, including strategy, knowledge management, and organizational development.
- Experience equipping staff and leaders to live out faith-informed leadership and servant ministry models.
- Experience developing resources that enhance understanding of Christian identity and its application in organizational practice.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of Christian faith principles and their practical application in organizational strategy and delivery.
- Ability to inspire, mentor, and coach staff to integrate faith into work, while respecting denominational and interfaith diversity.
- Strategic thinking and ability to set knowledge management priorities that drive organizational impact.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for staff, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Analytical skills to assess financial, social, and spiritual impact of programs.
- Creativity in developing tools, resources, and initiatives to strengthen faith-informed service delivery.
