The Sitecore Developer anchors the group’s multi-subsidiary web deployment pipelines, platform maintenance frameworks, and front-end engineering standardization. Core responsibilities include building reusable Sitecore components, rolling out global design systems across subsidiaries, managing Azure DevOps repositories, optimizing technical SEO, and translating complex technical requirements for non-technical international business teams.
Qualification
Educational Level & Professional Standing
- Minimum Requirement: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related computational field. Equivalent practical experience combined with enterprise CMS certifications will be fully recognized.
Linguistic Standards
- Bi-lingual Fluency: Professional-level working proficiency in both English and French is required to seamlessly collaborate with multinational subsidiaries, stakeholders, and support teams across several countries.

Software Engineering & Enterprise CMS Footprint
- Core Development Tenure: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in web development (front-end or full-stack).
- CMS Domain Expertise: Previous hands-on experience developing with Sitecore is strongly preferred. Candidates with strong backgrounds in alternative enterprise-tier content management systems (such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Drupal Enterprise, or Optimizely) will also be considered.
- Global Delivery Context: Prior exposure working successfully within multinational, multi-site, or multicultural corporate structures is highly advantageous.
Technical Stack Mastery
- Front-End Frameworks: Solid experience working with TypeScript, React, and modern front-end layout styling architectures (Sass / SCSS).
- Core Web Integrations: Flawless semantic integration utilizing HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Modern Architecture Pluses: Direct, hands-on experience with .NET systems and Next.js frameworks represents a substantial competitive advantage.
DevOps, Pipelines & System Integrity
- Version Control: Deep experience with Git-based source control repository structures.
- CI/CD Automation: Proven experience utilizing Azure DevOps for repository management, branching strategies, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Security & Interoperability: A firm understanding of cybersecurity principles, RESTful APIs, and secure integrations with third-party enterprise tools.
- Design Synchronization: Strong awareness of UX/UI design patterns and component-driven architecture.
Key Responsibilities
1. Website Development, Design System Integration & Deployment (35%)
- Deploy Subsidiary Websites: Drive the step-by-step rollout of AGL subsidiary platforms onto the centralized Sitecore CMS, ensuring global alignment.
- Build Reusable Architecture: Code, test, and integrate flexible web pages, custom components, and highly structured layout templates.
- Adapt Design Systems: Localize and roll out corporate design languages across various subsidiaries, ensuring consistent branding alongside localized performance.
2. Platform Maintenance, Technical SEO & Performance Optimization (25%)
- Manage Core Maintenance: Run continuous corrective and evolutionary platform maintenance, resolving code bugs, broken integrations, and layout shifts.
- Optimize Technical SEO: Configure web data architectures, crawlable metadata structures, and sitemaps to optimize search engine positioning.
- Maximize Core Web Vitals: Audit and optimize asset sizes, script execution timings, and caching headers to ensure rapid page load speeds worldwide.
3. Industrialization, Code Stewardship & Documentation (20%)
- Enforce Clean Code Standards: Write clean, modular, and well-documented code that adheres to global ASCENS development benchmarks.
- Build Component Libraries: Document reusable components and technical setups to make future developer onboarding straightforward.
- Streamline Cloud Workflows: Manage Azure DevOps repositories and configure CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure, error-free site deployments.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Support (20%)
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner closely with international Digital, UX/UI, and product business units during scoping and functional design phases.
- Translate Technical Concepts: Explain technical features, architectural limits, and updates clearly to non-technical business partners.
- Empower Content Authors: Train and support internal marketing and content teams on how to efficiently use the Sitecore CMS platform.
