Job Summary

The Systems & Governance Manager will oversee the complete implementation and operational governance of the MaceWay Management System on a landmark project. This includes building alignment with senior internal and external stakeholders, executing change management strategies, delivering technical training initiatives, guiding a team of specialized professionals, and reducing delivery-phase carbon emissions.

Qualification

• Mandatory Educational Background: A formal Professional Qualification (or verified industry equivalent) in business administration, construction management, quality management systems, or a related technical consultancy discipline.
• Framework Systems Literacy: Deep understanding of enterprise-level operational management systems, compliance workflows, and digital documentation architecture.
• Carbon Tracking Fluency: Functional capability to collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering grids to proactively support net-zero carbon transition objectives by tracking and reducing work-delivery emissions.

Management Systems Governance & Change Management

• System Implementation: Clear experience overseeing the deployment, compliance auditing, and long-term governance of enterprise-level project management systems or operational control models.
• Culture Embedment Strategies: Proven success creating and running adoption strategies that drive consistent team engagement, trust, and effective day-to-day use of structured management software and guidelines.
• Continuous Improvement Oversight: Documented experience driving system changes, technical enhancements, and optimization workflows that identify and deliver key improvements to business models.

Stakeholder Engagement & Team Leadership

• High-Level Influence: Natural capability to engage, build, and maintain deep internal and external stakeholder relationships, effectively influencing senior leadership to secure organizational alignment and successful project outcomes.
• Capability Development Delivery: Experienced in building, scheduling, and running software training sessions, educational webinars, and structured knowledge-sharing initiatives to elevate staff capability.
• Content Creation: Background creating, maintaining, and updating system guidance manuals, practical user materials, and step-by-step instructional media.
• People Management: Strong history of providing direct leadership to a team of managers and professionals—ensuring clear reporting lines, defined responsibilities, transparent performance management, coaching, and long-term technical development.

Key Responsibilities

Systems Administration & Quality Governance

• Govern the MaceWay System: Oversee the effective implementation, routine monitoring, and total compliance governance of the MaceWay Management Systems across all project facets.
• Embed a Compliance Culture: Design and run culture-focused engagement programs to drive consistent adoption and day-to-day usage of corporate management guidelines.
• Develop Training and Guidance: Create and keep up to date a clear library of system guidance documentation, user handbooks, and instructional videos, while delivering interactive system training sessions and webinars.
• Lead System Enhancements: Identify, manage, and execute system changes and continuous improvement initiatives to build operational efficiency.

Stakeholder Influence & Strategic Leadership

• Align Project Stakeholders: Actively engage with a diverse pool of internal and external senior stakeholders, influencing decisions to maintain alignment across project delivery boards.
• Direct Professional Teams: Provide clear organizational structure, assign individual responsibilities, run performance management reviews, and offer targeted professional coaching and technical growth tracks to a dedicated team of managers.
• Advance Carbon Reduction Goals: Work collaboratively across work packages to support net-zero carbon transition objectives, proactively identifying, tracking, and reducing carbon emissions across day-to-day project workflows.
