Job Summary
The Senior Construction Delivery Manager will execute short-term construction schedules, enforce onsite health and safety cultures, govern robust quality assurance (QA) sign-off loops with clients and design teams, run project lookahead forecasts, and implement carbon-reduction initiatives across the site.
Qualification
- Professional Credentials (Mandatory): Formal certified membership or chartered registration with a premier global institution: MCIOB, MAPM, MRICS, MICE, or a verified equivalent demonstrating continuous professional mastery.
- Technical Engineering Base: Strong working knowledge of international civil engineering codes, structural workflows, and sophisticated Project Management Consultancy (PMC) frameworks.
- Digital & Data Fluency: Proficiency in navigating modern digital construction suites, building information modeling (BIM) applications, and collaborative data-adoption tools on-site.
- Sustainability Stewardship: Knowledge of sustainable site operations, proactive carbon tracking metrics, and practical carbon-reduction methods to support a net-zero transition.

Construction Delivery Leadership & Subcontractor Governance
- Team Management: Proven experience leading distinct operational sections or multi-disciplinary packages within large, highly diverse construction teams.
- Short-Term Planning Execution: Documented success developing, adjusting, and executing micro-level, short-term construction schedules that align accurately with macro-program milestones.
- Interface Coordination: Expert-level mastery managing, challenging, and driving trade contractors and specialized engineering subcontractors to maintain strict timeline adherence.
Stakeholder Relations & Quality Management
- Client & Design Liaison: Established background building collaborative relationships with corporate clients, representative stakeholders, and Design Construction Management Teams (Design CMT).
- Robust Quality Assurance (QA): Demonstrated experience enforcing rigorous, zero-tolerance QA/QC inspection regimes through to final client sign-off and asset handover.
- Onsite Safety Advocacy: Proven history creating and sustaining a positive, inclusive health and safety culture, resulting in exemplary safe-work records on active construction grounds.
Key Responsibilities
Construction Management & Short-Term Execution
- Direct Site Operations: Operate within the Senior Construction Delivery Team, converting engineering designs into active progress while providing continuous guidance to junior engineers.
- Execute Production Plans: Devise and enforce short-term site plans, managing trade interfaces and subcontractor handovers to optimize labor efficiency and minimize delays.
- Lead Forecast Meetings: Chair targeted lookahead and forecasting sessions, providing clear authority, structural challenge, and decisive direction to site foremen and contractors.
Quality Assurance & Stakeholder Alignment
- Govern Sign-Off Frameworks: Implement Mace Group's global onsite standards, managing comprehensive QA processes to guarantee that all structural completions earn immediate client validation.
- Manage Client Interfaces: Act as a trusted technical point-of-contact for the Client and Design CMT, resolving technical discrepancies or design variations swiftly on-site.
- Deploy Digital Innovation: Champion the integration of digital tracking systems, on-site data capture, and "Construction to Production" methodologies to enhance delivery visibility.
Safety Enforcement & Carbon Reduction
- Own HSWQ Outcomes: Assume complete accountability for the Health, Safety, Wellbeing, and Quality outcomes across all assigned sectors of the aviation project.
- Foster Inclusive Safety: Cultivate a proactive safety-first culture on-site, verifying that all workers comply with security protocols and undergo necessary wellbeing training.
- Drive Carbon Reduction: Identify and integrate green building techniques and material efficiencies to support the project’s net-zero carbon goals through active carbon management.
