B2B Channel Sales & Territory Mastery
- Professional Longevity: Documented professional experience in field-based sales, channel distribution, or account management (ideally within Telecom, FinTech, FMCG, or smart device retail spaces).
- Dealer Acquisition Architecture: Proven track record of cold-calling, vetting, and successfully onboarding independent retail shops or enterprise dealerships into a centralized corporate distribution network.
- Route & Territory Management: Direct experience managing systematic daily route compliance models, maximizing store-visit coverage within assigned geographical boundaries.
- Credit & Conversion Focus: Familiarity with asset finance, micro-credit systems, or consumer loan conversions, understanding how to pitch financing solutions as a revenue-driver for merchants.
Training & Operational Enablement
- Staff Capacity Building: Experience hosting structured training or coaching modules for front-line retail staff (Front Officers) regarding digital POS systems, software dashboards, and after-sales mechanics.
- Portfolio Health Tracking: Practical familiarity evaluating basic financial sales metrics, tracking customer repayment behaviors, and coordinating proactive follow-ups on overdue accounts.
- Risk & Fraud Identification: Proven capability to detect on-site compliance risks, irregular staff transactions, or vendor rule violations, taking swift corrective field actions.
- Tech-Savvy Ground Coordination: Experience utilizing mobile messaging platforms (e.g., WhatsApp Business groups) and corporate CRM tools to manage asynchronous onboarding pipelines and troubleshoot technical system glitches rapidly.
Key Responsibilities
Dealership Acquisition & Route Optimization
- Expand Regional Distribution: Identify, negotiate with, and onboard high-performing smartphone stores and retail dealerships monthly to continuously scale the Watu Simu corporate footprint.
- Execute Strict Route Management: Maintain 100% compliance with designated territory route schedules, ensures complete store coverage, and minimize dead-zone gaps.
- Govern B2B Dealer Relationships: Act as the primary corporate contact for dealership owners, resolving operational friction points and driving long-term partner loyalty.
Sales Acceleration & Brand Visibility
- Drive Credit Conversions: Formulate and execute localized sales strategies alongside Front Officers to increase device credit applications, hitting monthly volume and revenue baselines.
- Maximize Merchandising Presence: Coordinate the distribution and placement of Watu Simu branding matrices, ensuring point-of-sale (POS) displays achieve peak customer visibility.
- Gather Market Intelligence: Track, analyze, and report on competitor pricing adjustments, promotional campaigns, and changing consumer purchasing behaviors back to management cells.
Portfolio Quality, Risk, & Onboarding Support
- Monitor Territory Portfolio Quality: Track credit repayment cycles across your assigned stores, initiating prompt, polite follow-ups on delinquent or overdue accounts to lower overall financial risk.
- Mitigate Compliance Risks: Conduct ongoing audits of Front Officer operational logs to eliminate unauthorized pricing setups or compliance violations.
- Lead System Training & Troubleshooting: Train and retrain dealership staff on backend system dashboards. Provide immediate field support for technical account verification glitches, managing local dealership communication networks to maintain flawless daily transaction flows.
