Product Manager

Job Summary

Freedx is hiring a Product Manager for Payments & Custody Aggregation. This role owns end-to-end product specifications, multi-provider routing logic, and settlement workflows for on/off-ramp and custody processing aggregators. Requiring 3+ years in fintech/crypto, the PM translates exchange deposit/withdrawal requirements into technical PRDs, compliance handoffs, and operational tooling.

Key Roles & Operational Responsibilities

1. Payment & Custody Aggregator Architecture

• Product Ownership: Own the end-to-end product lifecycle—from discovery and technical specification to delivery and rollout—for Freedx's On/Off-Ramp and Custody/Crypto Processing aggregators.
• Scalable System Design: Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to design configuration-first aggregator frameworks, multi-provider routing rules, fee models, limits, geo-restrictions, and automated failover/fallback logic.
• Vendor Integration: Define integration requirements and coordinate implementations with external partners, including institutional custody providers, fiat on/off-ramp vendors, and banking/payment rails.

2. Deposit & Withdrawal Lifecycle Management

• Transaction Engine Operations: Define and maintain robust deposit and withdrawal transaction flows, including validation checks, network confirmations, automated settlement, and daily reconciliation logic.
• Observability & Error Handling: Establish operational monitoring, real-time alerts, transaction status tracking dashboards, and incident resolution workflows for failed or delayed payment transfers.

3. Risk, Compliance & Operational Tooling

• Regulatory & Anti-Fraud Integration: Define requirements for KYC handoffs, AML transaction screening rules, velocity limits, and anti-fraud mechanisms (e.g., bonus abuse, referral farming, multi-accounting detection).
• Back-Office & Campaign Design: Specify administrative tools and operational interfaces for internal teams (Finance, Risk, Support, Compliance) to manage user operations, routing overrides, and campaign parameters.
• Documentation & Delivery: Maintain high-quality product documentation (PRDs, user stories, functional flow diagrams, API requirements, release notes) and manage team roadmaps.

Foundational Capabilities & Prerequisites

Required Track Record & Technical Competencies

• Workplace Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager in fintech, crypto, trading platforms, payment processing, or brokerage systems.
• Domain Subject Expertise: Deep understanding of crypto exchange infrastructure, transaction lifecycles, payment routing mechanisms, and custody processing.
• Documentation & Product Delivery: Proven ability to author clear PRDs, business logic rules, user stories, system flowcharts, and technical API requirements.
• Growth & Monetization Alignment: Strong grasp of user acquisition/activation/retention mechanics, referral/affiliate commission structures (CPA, revenue share), and key business metrics (LTV, CAC, conversion rates, trading volume).
• Data-Driven & Cross-Functional Leadership: Analytical mindset with experience prioritizing roadmaps using product data while collaborating across Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Finance, QA, and Support teams.
• Language Skill: Professional proficiency in written and spoken English for documentation and global team communication.
