Job Summary
The Manager – People Systems & Data Analytics is responsible for maintaining the absolute security, integrity, and operational effectiveness of Inkomoko's global HR platforms. This position centers heavily on deploying dashboard analytics, leading process automation projects, standardizing reporting frameworks, and building the data-handling capacity of localized People and Culture teams.
Qualification
- Educational Foundation: A formal Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a closely related quantitative/technical discipline.
- Technical Software Stack: Proficient mastery of data visualization platforms (specifically Power BI or an enterprise equivalent) and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities (complex modeling, formulas, and data cleaning macros).
- Database Programming Asset: Working familiarity with SQL (Structured Query Language) for running advanced queries and manipulating back-end database layers is considered a distinct competitive advantage.
- Core Core Competencies: Excellent strategic problem-solving abilities, an inherent digital mindset, results orientation, and the cross-cultural sensitivity required to influence stakeholders across a fast-paced, multi-country environment.
Experience
Candidates must demonstrate deep technical mastery within complex, multi-jurisdictional corporate ecosystems:
HR Technology & Platform Administration
- Field Tenure Alignment: A minimum of five (5) years of direct professional experience managing Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), learning management systems (LMS), and related performance management platforms.
- Regional Operations Footprint: Proven track record working within a regional, multi-country, or geographically distributed organizational framework.
- System Implementation Lifecycle: Direct experience deploying, configuring, integrating, or auditing corporate HR software and managing technical vendor relationships.
Workforce Analytics & Governance
- Executive Dashboard Architecture: Comprehensive background in converting raw workforce metrics (recruitment velocity, retention curves, performance distributions, succession planning data) into scannable, actionable business insights for board members and international donors.
- Data Security & Governance: Robust understanding of data governance methodologies, information security best practices, and international compliance boundaries regarding sensitive employee records.
Key Responsibilities
People Systems Management & Technology Optimization
- Govern HR Infrastructure: Lead the daily administration, optimization, and structural improvement of Inkomoko’s core HR platforms, ensuring high availability, user friendliness, and scalability.
- Drive Integrations: Collaborate directly with internal IT departments and external software vendors to plan and execute system upgrades, data migrations, and API connections.
- Standardize Operational Tools: Create a uniform user experience and reporting logic across all regional offices, ensuring software accommodates the specific compliance needs of each country.
People Analytics, Business Intelligence & Reporting
- Build Executive Dashboards: Design, deploy, and maintain centralized workforce metrics databases and Power BI dashboards to track headcount, turnover, talent acquisition, and performance trends.
- Synthesize Strategic Insights: Translate raw people data into narrative reports and clear business insights to guide executive leadership, the Board of Directors, and global institutional donors.
- Facilitate Predictive Planning: Leverage data trends to inform proactive long-term workforce planning, succession pathways, and employee retention strategies.
Data Governance, Security & Quality Auditing
- Enforce Governance Standards: Set up strict, cross-border data quality thresholds, master data management frameworks, and information security rules.
- Execute Regular Audits: Design and lead routine automated validation processes and security audits to ensure employee data remains complete, highly accurate, and legally compliant.
Process Automation & Digital Transformation
- Streamline HR Workflows: Identify administrative bottlenecks within the People function and introduce automation tools to maximize efficiency and elevate the overall employee experience.
- Lead Change Initiatives: Act as the regional champion for HR digital transformation, removing reliance on manual processing sheets in favor of cloud-based technology solutions.
Stakeholder Support & Regional Capability Building
- Act as Subject Matter Expert: Serve as the primary, go-to authority across the continent for any technical inquiries relating to Inkomoko’s People systems.
- Empower Local Teams: Develop training programs and documentation to upskill country-level People & Culture teams, enabling them to self-serve on basic analytics and system modules.
Expected Outputs & Deliverables
- Fully optimized, bug-free HRIS, ATS, and performance platforms integrated cleanly across all operating countries.
- Centralized, interactive Power BI executive dashboards mapping critical workforce analytics.
- Standardized operational data dictionaries and strict data governance policies enforced across regional nodes.
- Accurate, audit-ready data reports delivered on time for quarterly Board reviews and donor compliance reporting.
- Documented training guidelines and completed upskilling tracks for regional HR coordinators.
