Job Summary
The Global Sales Manager architectures, implements, and expands HOTGEN's international IVD distribution pipelines and revenue streams. Core daily duties include conducting regional medical market research, vetting international medical agents and strategic partners, executing complex multi-year distribution contracts, representing the brand at major international medical exhibitions, and translating overseas clinician feedback into actionable product iteration briefs for internal R&D teams.
Foundational Commercial & Scientific Prerequisites
- Academic Scientific Foundation: A completed Bachelor’s degree or higher in Immunology, Bioengineering, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or an equivalent life sciences discipline.
- Analytical Market Acumen: Sharp market analysis ability and sensitive market insight, with a proven capacity to accurately judge global healthcare trends and customer needs.
- High-Stakes Negotiation Depth: Excellent business negotiation skills and contract signing capabilities, with a history of independently developing accounts and hitting performance metrics.
- Linguistic Articulation: Absolute fluency in English (complete listening, speaking, reading, and writing proficiency) to lead international client relations.
- Global Mobility: Full willingness and physical flexibility to travel frequently worldwide to manage accounts, audit channels, and lead events.
- Interpersonal Resilience: A proactive, highly responsible, and resilient professional style capable of managing high-pressure targets and complex cross-border timelines.
Preferred Technical Multipliers
- Advanced Scientific Credentials: A Master's degree or higher in an applicable biological or bioengineering field.
- Documented IVD Domain Tenure: Direct, hands-on experience selling In Vitro Diagnostic instruments, immunoassay reagents, or molecular diagnostics kits in an international framework.
- Cross-Border Trade Competence: Solid familiarity with international trade rules (Incoterms, logistics pipelines) and regional IVD industry regulatory landscapes (such as CE-IVDR, FDA tracks, or local MoH clearance frameworks).
- Bilingual Asset: Professional proficiency or fluency in Mandarin is a strong operational advantage to ease coordination with core production facilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Multi-Regional Market Expansion & Revenue Optimization
- Direct the commercial expansion of key regional healthcare markets, with special focus tracks across Europe, America, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa.
- Formulate and execute tailored, region-specific sales strategies that reflect local healthcare funding structures, reimbursement policies, and competitor positioning.
- Cultivate new customer groups, hospital networks, and private laboratory chains to establish sustainable, long-term market operation models.
- Elevate the brand influence, market penetration, and market share of HOTGEN's diagnostic portfolio on the global stage.
2. Global Channel Architecture & Partner Optimization
- Manage, evaluate, and optimize HOTGEN's global sales channel network, setting strict criteria for choosing distributors, brokers, and agents.
- Establish effective channel management and territory governance mechanisms to ensure smooth product circulation, fair pricing structures, and zero channel conflict.
- Coordinate directly with internal technical support teams to resolve complex channel operation blocks, logistical friction points, or product delivery issues quickly.
3. Cross-Functional Integration & Market Intelligence
- Act as a vital link between the global market and internal teams, gathering field insights, customer feature requests, and technology trends.
- Provide data-backed recommendations to the internal R&D, product management, and marketing teams to guide product updates and new product launches.
- Partner with marketing divisions to plan and deploy high-impact promotional collateral tailored to regional clinical preferences.
4. Field Promotion, Analytics & Performance Governance
- Participate actively in high-priority international medical exhibitions (e.g., MEDICA, Medlab), industry seminars, and key customer meetings to secure contracts and expand brand reach.
- Track global sales pipeline progress daily, analyzing complex performance data to submit regular sales forecasts and market intelligence sheets.
- Adjust sales targets, inventory requests, and localized campaign strategies quickly in response to shifting macroeconomic factors or local regulatory changes.
Core Competencies & Commercial Strengths
- Multi-Tiered Distribution Stewardship: The ability to identify, onboard, and manage tier-1 medical distributors across vastly different cultures and business environments.
- Scientific Conversational Fluency: Comfort discussing complex diagnostic methodologies—such as chemiluminescence, PCR thresholds, or antigen-antibody affinity mechanics—with clinical specialists and lab directors.
- Regulatory Roadmap Literacy: A clear understanding of how import restrictions, local product registrations, and quality standards (ISO 13485) impact international shipping timelines.
- Aggressive Pipeline Management: Systematic tracking of long B2B procurement cycles, ensuring consistent touchpoints from initial pitch to final customs clearance.
- Asynchronous Matrix Coordination: The communication skills needed to align distributed regional distributors with centralized factory logistics and compliance divisions smoothly.
