Job Summary
The Full-Stack Engineer (AI-Augmented) builds, refactors, and deploys high-velocity serverless applications by pairing strong Next.js/React development skills with autonomous AI agent coordination. Core daily duties include writing clean frontend interfaces and serverless backends, guiding Manus AI and OpenManus frameworks to auto-generate complex application logic, managing GitHub version control pipelines, auditing AI-generated code for production readiness, and maintaining zero-downtime CI/CD workflows inside Vercel.
Foundational Engineering & AI Tooling Prerequisites
- Professional Full-Stack Tenure: Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in Full-Stack Web Development, showing deep production-level expertise utilizing React, Next.js, and Node.js.
- Mandatory AI Agent Mastery: Direct, hands-on experience working extensively with the Manus AI ecosystem (including its web/desktop workspace, browser/sandbox testing environments, and API tooling engines) or the open-source OpenManus framework to generate, iterate, and deploy full-stack software applications.
- Cloud Infrastructure Agility: Strong experience configuring, deploying, and maintaining production-grade applications within Vercel, including managing complex environment variables, handling custom domains, and monitoring system performance analytics.
- Advanced Version Control: Complete, uncompromised mastery of GitHub protocols, including branching strategies, pull request resolution, merge conflict mitigation, and setting up custom GitHub Actions or deployment workflows.
- Technical Builder Mindset: An intense technical curiosity regarding the intersection of artificial intelligence and software architecture, with a proven ability to leverage autonomous agents to radically accelerate feature time-to-market.
- Asynchronous Core Hours: Availability and discipline to work a structured schedule of 40 hours per week, completely aligned with 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST.
Preferred Technical Multipliers
- Protocol Integration Depth: Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to connect AI models safely to secure local and remote data sources, developer tools, and custom API layers.
- Multi-Platform Index Tuning: Past experience engineering web properties optimized for hybrid search indexing—ensuring high performance across both traditional engines (Google) and conversational AI discovery platforms (ChatGPT).
Key Responsibilities
1. Full-Stack Web Development & Modern Tech Stack (40%)
- Frontend Execution: Develop and maintain clean, responsive, and pixel-perfect web interfaces using modern UI frameworks (Next.js, React, TailWind CSS), ensuring complete structural responsiveness across all device viewports.
- Backend & Integrations: Implement robust serverless backends, configure secure user authentication protocols, design efficient database structures (both SQL and NoSQL environments), and script secure third-party API integrations (e.g., Stripe Payments, CRMs, and external data hooks).
- SEO & Performance Optimization: Architect all core web properties for maximum speed, leveraging advanced server-side rendering (SSR) and static generation to guarantee dual-rendering optimization for both Google and ChatGPT indexing.
2. AI-Native Workflow & Automation with Manus (30%)
- AI Scaffolding: Utilize the Manus AI agent ecosystem and open-source OpenManus frameworks to rapidly research software engineering concepts, auto-generate initial application architectures, and build out dynamic, logic-heavy components (such as complex pricing calculators or custom product configurators).
- Workflow Automation: Integrate custom API connections and Model Context Protocol (MCP) systems through the Manus engine to construct highly automated, multi-tool development pipelines.
- Rapid Prototyping: Accelerate time-to-market parameters for new product landing pages and experimental features by actively directing Manus’s browser and sandbox operators to code, test, and deploy functional prototypes directly from natural language prompts.
3. Git-Flow, Code Control & Deployment Pipelines (30%)
- Version Control: Enforce strict GitHub branching, tagging, and merging standards to organize clean team collaboration lines and keep master branches production-ready.
- Continuous Integration/Deployment: Configure, expand, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines inside Vercel to ensure zero-downtime, instantaneous deployment of static assets, serverless functions, and dynamic data modules.
- Code Export & Refactoring: Take full engineering ownership of all source code blocks generated via AI assistants, exporting them cleanly into corporate GitHub repositories, auditing them for security compliance, and refactoring them to meet strict production-grade efficiency guidelines.
