Job Summary
The Finance and Accounting Manager supports the day-to-day execution of general ledger impacted processes, including offering dedicated support to clients as they work with and understand these workflows. This position performs critical accounting functions specifically in the areas of account balancing, ledger reconciliation, reporting, and discrepancy resolution to ensure localized corporate standards are met.
Qualification
- 4-year Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or a related major.
Experience
- No work experience required if holding the requested major.
- Position level is categorized under Management and operates on a Full-Time schedule.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Managing Work, Projects, and Policies: Ensure financial administrative work flows smoothly and complies with organizational directives.
- Maintaining Finance and Accounting Goals: Support the alignment of daily operations with centralized organizational fiscal standards.
- Demonstrating and Applying Accounting Knowledge: Execute technical tasks efficiently in account balancing, ledger reconciliation, reporting, and comprehensive discrepancy resolution.
- Leading Accounting Teams: Act as a key support resource for internal clients, accounting staff, and operational teams handling ledger-impacted processes.
- Managing and Conducting Human Resource Activities: Participate in team-building, schedule administration, or professional leadership workflows as requested by management.
Additional Responsibilities
- Provide clear information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates via telephone, written forms, email, or in person.
- Inform and update executives, peers, and subordinates on relevant information in a timely manner.
- Manage group or interpersonal conflict effectively and use problem-solving methodologies for decision-making and follow-up.
- Present ideas, expectations, and financial information in a concise, well-organized way.
- Demonstrate personal integrity, effective listening skills, self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm.
- Manage time efficiently, maintain strong organizational skills, and make collection calls if necessary.
