Executive Advisor To Chief Technology & Information Officer

Job Summary

The Executive Advisor joins the Office of the Chief Technology and Innovation Officer (CTIO) as a delivery leader to play a pivotal role in RSSB's digital ecosystem. The role focuses on driving strategic execution across Engineering, Product, Enterprise Solutions, and Infrastructure teams, ensuring priorities translate into measurable outcomes, and strengthening cross-functional delivery discipline.

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
• Master's Degree in a relevant field is an added advantage
• Professional certifications in Agile, Scrum, Program Management, SAFe, PMP, PRINCE2 Agile, or related disciplines are an added advantage

Experience

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in digital delivery, product operations, technology program management, or a related field
• At least three (3) years of experience in a senior role coordinating multiple teams and complex initiatives simultaneously
• Proven experience working within Agile and Scrum environments, including sprint planning, backlog management, release coordination, and squad ceremonies
• Demonstrated experience working in a digital factory, software product organization, technology-driven environment, or large-scale transformation program
• Experience leading and influencing multidisciplinary teams without direct authority
• Experience in financial services, insurance, healthcare systems, or public sector digital transformation is an added advantage

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Drive delivery across squads and departments by maintaining visibility over strategic initiatives, monitoring progress, and resolving blockers
• Strengthen delivery culture by supporting effective planning, execution, accountability, and performance management practices
• Coordinate activities across Engineering, Product, Enterprise Solutions, and Infrastructure teams to ensure strategic alignment
• Anticipate, identify, and resolve operational and delivery challenges in a timely and effective manner
• Support executive decision-making by providing strategic insights, delivery updates, risk assessments, and implementation plans
• Translate strategic priorities into actionable roadmaps, execution plans, and measurable outcomes
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between department heads, squad leads, and senior stakeholders
• Provide leadership, coaching, and constructive feedback to teams and individuals where required
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Chief Technology and Innovation Officer
