Job Summary

The Excel Expert will apply their advanced operational modeling knowledge to train, calibrate, and critique frontier AI models. This contract role focuses on designing realistic operational business case studies, auditing AI-generated logic and formulas, identifying systemic gaps in algorithmic spreadsheet creation, and ensuring that model outputs exhibit authentic commercial awareness and absolute technical accuracy.

Qualification

• Technical Core Toolset: Expert-level mastery of Microsoft Excel, including complex nested arrays, advanced lookup engines, pivot charts, and data validation rules.
• Analytical Mindset: Exceptional problem-solving skills with a clear ability to interpret, clean, and organize complex, messy business telemetry.
• Documentation Polish: Elite written communication skills, with a proven ability to write crystal-clear, step-by-step instructional guides and technical rationales.

Spreadsheet Engineering & Operations Footprint

• Core Field Exposure: Documented professional experience developing advanced Excel solutions within business operations, corporate strategy, project management, or management consulting environments.
• Non-Financial Strategic Logic: A proven track record of solving complex, non-financial business problems, optimizing supply chain logs, tracing resource allocations, or managing operational performance metrics.
• Advanced Architecture Execution: Practical background building complex spreadsheet tools, executive dashboards, or automated trackers for operational excellence initiatives.

Data Analysis & AI Dataset Familiarity

• Modeling & Optimization: Extensive experience running data analysis, multi-variable scenario modeling, and layout workflow optimization routines.
• Advanced Training Exposure: Prior experience or familiarity contributing to machine learning datasets, domain-specific AI annotation, or professional technical training is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

AI Training Support & Complex File Enhancement

• Review & Enhance Complex Sheets: Audit, break down, and rebuild complex Excel workbooks relevant to business operations, tracking structures, and corporate data analysis.
• Author Golden Best Practices: Provide detailed, structured feedback and create flawless examples of spreadsheet design, highlighting operational and consulting best practices (excluding pure financial accounting).
• Design Training Templates: Author, document, and share highly robust Excel templates, custom calculators, and logic maps designed specifically for machine learning model ingestion.
• Simulate Real-World Scenarios: Evaluate, simulate, and stress-test real-world business problems using advanced Excel features, conditional setups, and automation tools.

Case Study Creation, Validation & Collaboration

• Build Analytical Case Studies: Create realistic, data-driven operational scenarios and multi-step business case studies to challenge and expand AI reasoning capabilities.
• Evaluate Algorithmic Output: Audit AI-generated formulas, data schemas, and spreadsheet layouts for absolute logical accuracy, syntax correctness, and structural relevance.
• Identify Model Blind Spots: Pinpoint gaps in AI comprehension of complex data relationships and propose structured data training patches based on modern industry workflows.
• Deliver Precise Documentation: Author comprehensive, highly detailed technical logs explaining formula mechanics, data lineages, and analytical rationales in clear written formats.
