Key Roles & Operational Responsibilities
1. Vision, Strategy, and Market Intelligence
- Own the global product vision, overarching strategy, and 12-month rolling roadmap for the Portfolio Monitoring line, aligning development velocity with corporate revenue targets.
- Anchor the annual strategic planning process with business unit executives, delivering structured intelligence on technology feasibility, competitor tracking, and quantitative market sizing.
- Standardize market and competitive intelligence into an ongoing internal function, replacing anecdotal sales feedback with rigorous, data-driven feature prioritization.
2. Institutional Client Interfacing & Solution Scoping
- Act as the primary technical and product voice during advanced enterprise sales cycles, managing complex RFP responses, platform demonstrations, and solution scoping workshops.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to define account-specific onboarding and implementation architectures for Tier-1 institutional clients.
- Extract specific customization requirements from enterprise accounts and convert them into generic, architectural building blocks to ensure core product scalability.
3. Engineering Squad Leadership & Multi-Team Delivery
- Oversee and direct multiple agile squads dedicated to the portfolio monitoring track, optimizing sprint health, cross-team dependencies, and delivery predictability.
- Author and refine high-level epic definitions, complex data architecture requirements, and product requirement documents (PRDs).
- Mentor, train, and expand the product management team, championing a culture rooted in client empathy, financial precision, and rigorous validation.
4. Ecosystem & Go-To-Market Execution
- Collaborate with Marketing and Commercial leaders to establish enterprise software pricing frameworks, clear market positioning, and product differentiation.
- Architect and manage strategic integration partnerships with external financial data networks, custodian banks, and specialized technology vendors.
