Job Summary

The Director of Operations is responsible for leading and overseeing all in-country operations, ensuring operational excellence, commercial sustainability, and long-term organizational growth. The role focuses on executing strategic priorities, improving business performance, optimizing operational efficiency, and developing high-performing teams while maintaining strong governance and compliance standards.

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, or related fields
• Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related fields is advantageous

Experience

• 10–15+ years of professional experience
• Minimum 5 years in a senior operations, general management, or country leadership role
• Proven experience managing multi-functional operations and large teams
• Demonstrated track record of improving operational performance and driving business growth
• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, food production, supply chain, or related industries is preferred
• Experience in scaling operations, business transformation, or high-growth environments is advantageous

• Lead the execution of country strategy and operational priorities

• Ensure alignment and coordination across operational functions

• Oversee country-level operational and financial performance
• Drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and cost optimization initiatives
• Strengthen budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial management processes
• Ensure effective cash flow management and business sustainability
• Oversee production, distribution, logistics, and quality management activities
• Improve productivity, operational efficiency, and waste reduction initiatives
• Ensure compliance with operational, safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Lead and develop multi-functional leadership teams
• Establish performance management systems and succession planning initiatives
• Coach, mentor, and support managers to achieve organizational objectives
• Strengthen operational systems, standard operating procedures, and internal controls
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Support the development of scalable and sustainable operational processes
• Ensure organizational compliance and audit readiness
