Summary:
We are seeking Business Liaison Officers to act as a key link between a financial institution and D-SACCOs, supporting business origination, loan pipeline development, and uptake of financial products at the district level.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact between the institution and D-SACCO branches
- Identify, appraise, and follow up on loan and project applications
- Support implementation and monitoring of credit guarantee operations
- Conduct market visits to identify new clients and projects
- Guide clients on business proposals and risk mitigation
- Prepare reports and support audits, portfolio reviews, and field missions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar or related role
- Strong skills in loan appraisal, analysis, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
- Good communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
