Job Summary
The Software Engineering AI Specialist evaluates and refines LLM code generation across Python, JavaScript, Java, and C++. This specialist audits Chain-of-Thought algorithmic reasoning, reviews AI code for security vulnerabilities and clean-code principles, designs multi-turn debugging workflows, and benchmarks LLM performance across technical frameworks.
Key Roles & Operational Responsibilities
1. Algorithmic Reasoning & Chain-of-Thought (CoT) Validation
- Logic Auditing: Review, score, and refine step-by-step "Chain-of-Thought" reasoning generated by LLMs when solving complex coding and algorithmic problems.
- Multi-Language Coverage: Evaluate logic and execution across primary languages including Python, JavaScript, Java, and C++.
2. Code Quality, Security & Architecture Auditing
- Vulnerability Auditing: Inspect AI-generated code for security flaws, such as SQL injections, buffer overflows, memory leaks, and cross-site scripting (XSS).
- Clean Code Standards: Ensure model output adheres strictly to clean-code principles (SOLID, DRY, object-oriented patterns, and modular design).
3. Multi-Turn Debugging & Prompt Engineering
- Debugging Workflows: Design and test complex multi-turn prompt scenarios where the model must identify root causes, explain bugs clearly, and refactor existing code blocks.
- NLP-to-Code Optimization: Refine the mapping between natural language user prompts and generated code to ensure subtle logical requirements are captured accurately.
- LLM Benchmarking: Execute performance benchmarks to identify "logic gaps" and failure modes in how models handle specific libraries, APIs, or architectural patterns.
Foundational Capabilities & Prerequisites
Core Technical Experience
- Programming Mastery: Strong proficiency in one or more core languages: Python, JavaScript, Java, or C++.
- Software Architecture: Solid understanding of algorithm design, data structures, object-oriented design (SOLID), and clean architecture principles.
- Security & Code Review: Ability to identify code vulnerabilities, performance bottlenecks, and edge-case errors.
- LLM & AI Curiosity: Passion for generative AI, prompt engineering, and training models to produce production-grade code.
Additional Listed Qualifications (As per posting)
- Language Proficiency: Native-level fluency in primary language + minimum B1 (Intermediate) English proficiency.
- Analytical Skills: High attention to detail for evaluating complex digital outputs and logical structures.
- Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related technical fields.
