Professional Credentials & Academic Matrix
- Professional Licensure: Active, professional CPA Rwanda Accreditation (Certified Public Accountant) or advanced progress within the official ICPAR (Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda) structure is essential.
- Academic Baseline: Must be a recent graduate from a recognized university or higher education institution.
- Degree Framework: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a matching quantitative equivalent is considered a distinct added advantage.
- Scholastic Excellence: Demonstrated track record of superior academic performance, fully backed by recent university or institutional academic transcripts and records.
Technical & Experience Baseline
- Professional Tenure: A minimum of one (1) year of functional experience working inside a corporate accounting unit, bookkeeping agency, or financial internship program.
- Software Stack Alignment: Practical knowledge and hands-on use of modern Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or QuickBooks Enterprise) is considered a highly desirable added advantage.
- Computer Literacy: Complete proficiency with standard office productivity suites, specifically high comfort manipulating datasets, formulas, and pivot tables in Microsoft Excel.
- Linguistic Portfolio: Complete fluency in written and spoken English, featuring clear professional reporting and interpersonal presentation habits.

Key Learning Tracks & Responsibilities
1. General Ledger & Transaction Processing
- Assist senior accounting teams with daily financial postings, ledger balancing, and transaction data entries.
- Process vendor invoices, corporate expense vouchers, and customer receipts accurately inside the centralized company ERP software.
- Participate directly in the month-end closing process, verifying cash books against corporate bank statements.
2. Tax Compliance & Local Audit Support
- Map corporate financial records against active Rwandan tax laws and Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) filing guidelines.
- Compile baseline documentation, statutory deduction files, and asset ledgers ahead of external financial audits.
- Ensure all accounting entries meet the compliance regulations mandated by CPA Rwanda and local accounting standards.
3. Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Generate preliminary cash flow projections, operational budget tracking files, and financial performance dashboards.
- Formulate clear, concise narrative explanations for structural budget variances or sudden ledger shifts.
- Draft executive financial updates and presentation slides for cohort review sessions and management updates.
