Job Summary

The Academic Researcher will be responsible for conducting in-depth analytical reviews, synthesizing academic and professional literature, and evaluating complex technical text. This role centers on preparing, formatting, and analyzing intricate Word and PDF documents utilizing advanced properties (such as data extraction, formatting rules, and tracked changes) to generate high-quality, client-ready data packages that directly optimize AI model performance.

Qualification

Candidates must meet the following baseline educational and professional credentials:

• Required Advanced Degree: Must hold a Master’s degree, PhD, or Juris Doctor (JD) from a recognized, accredited academic institution.
• Communication Mastery: Superb written and verbal English communication skills, with a demonstrated talent for summarizing dense, complex concepts into clear, scannable prose.
• Technical Workspace Setup: Self-motivated and fully equipped to maintain absolute productivity, document safety, and strict deadline adherence in an independent remote working environment.

Experience

Candidates must demonstrate the following professional background, advanced document competencies, and collaborative skills:

• Professional Research Track Record: Minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience within academic research, legal frameworks, policy analysis, healthcare operations, or related corporate sectors.
• Advanced Document Processing Mastery: Labeled expertise in preparing, editing, and reviewing sophisticated Word and PDF documentation, showing fluency with advanced features including tracked changes, form filling, automated data extraction, and deep semantic document review.
• Synthesis Capabilities: A proven record of evaluating, checking, and synthesizing academic literature, legal statutes, case studies, or high-density industry datasets.
• Multidisciplinary Teamwork: Practical experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (including legal, healthcare, policy, or financial professionals) to build interconnected deliverables.
• Preferred Corporate Exposure: Direct experience working with, for, or in support of Fortune 500 corporate operations or enterprise-level client workflows.
• Preferred Industry Workflows: Prior hands-on involvement with legal discovery, healthcare clinical data, compliance policy writing, or financial operations documentation.
• Preferred Scholarly Profile: An active academic or industry publication record, or a history of presenting technical research at professional conferences.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Deep Analysis: Execute systematic, in-depth research and literature reviews within your domain of expertise, generating evidence-based, client-ready data insights.
• Evaluate Professional Literature: Read, analyze, and synthesize complex academic papers, legal briefings, healthcare reports, or policy dossiers to establish training baselines.
• Translate Complex Findings: Condense highly intricate, multi-layered research conclusions into clear, scannable, and actionable reports or data formats tailored to Fortune 500 standards.

Expert Document Architecture & Quality Control

• Architect Complex Documents: Prepare, format, and manipulate highly structured Word and PDF documents, ensuring precise alignment with designated formatting rules and data extraction schemas.
• Execute Stringent Auditing: Perform detailed text edits using advanced features like tracked changes, document comparison matrices, and metadata validation loops.
• Enforce Guideline Compliance: Secure absolute factual accuracy, terminology consistency, and total compliance with strict project guidelines across all written deliverables.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication
